Classic Port Style:
In the Portuguese tradition, this wine is made from a blend of several grape varieties including indigenous grapes from southwest Europe. Intense fruit character and depth of flavor at bottling. Like all ports however, you'll be rewarded if you can set some bottles aside for a year or two. The kit produces up to 17.5% alcohol. Brandy may be added to elevate the alcohol even further and add to the true Port taste.

A 4 week wine kit. In the style of fine wines of the southern Rhône Valley. This wine derives its complex character from Syrah, Carignan and Grenache grapes. Rich flavors suggestive of cherry, raspberry, blackberry and plum combine with notes of pepper and chocolate. The finish shows a subtle herbaceous note and a suggestion of cedar and violets.

Okanagan Valley Ehrenfelser: *Special Order*
This outstanding cross of Sylvaner and Riesling, developed at Geisenheim research station in Germany in 1929, has been growing in the Okanagan since 1977. The wine is more delicate than Riesling and displays beautiful floral notes not seen in its parent varieties. Notes of apple, apricot and peach dominate, with hints of grapefruit, nectarine, flowers and orange peel in the background. Floral and honey undertones make for a long, lingering finish. A great aperitif. Matches well with Asian dishes, chicken, veal and pork.
