Malt extract syrups are made by a process of crushing and soaking malted grain. It is boiled down to a concentrated liquid (lme) or spray dried to a powder (dme). This creates a short-cut in the brewing process allowing the homebrewer to make a batch of beer in just a couple of hours over the all day process of all-grain brewing.

We carry The Beer Machine® Recipe Kits. Please note that our other kits cannot be substituted for these recipe kits. You must make your choices for The Beer Machine® from the choices in this category. If you want a wider choice then we suggest looking at our beer starter kit section and going from there.

We sell both kinds in a wide variety in plain or hopped flavors.

Plain (unhopped) liquid extract syrups are sold by weight and brand. Please look to your left menu bar for your choices.

Dry malt extracts (dme) also come in hopped or plain (unhopped) varieties. These are also sold by weight and brand. Please look to your left menu bar for your choices.
